Healing the misconceptions
of our birth family experiences is the first step in understanding the difference
between our inner parents and the ones who raised us. Inside each of us, the
"cleansing" of who they were towards us and how we responded to it-
and most important how we created our inner parents to help guide our inner
child because of how we were treated, is the healing process.
Our healing begins as we take what was
"said to be helpful" for us, and lovingly sift it through the perception
of our
"essential self". Simply letting go of what
is not helpful
& keeping what is.
Easy to say, yet hard to do- especially when they can continue to be harmful
towards us and worse yet, in the name of being "loving".
Looking deeply into the ways the ones who raised us
(our birth family &/or our main "support system")
may have given us- some unintentionally,
some intentionally, some really harmful information.
Once we are clear on what is really helpful and what is really harmful, we're
able to make great steps in awareness and therefore our healing process. It's
about a continual vigilance towards our changing needs and how to respond to
them, honestly- with consideration to all concerned.
With the honored goal of continually understanding how we are best to guide
our lives- so that we are in alignment with our highest intentions for love
and service to spiritual growth for all we connect with, as well as ourselves.
Also, as a prayer to the whole world for a true and lasting peace that is built
on this inner understandings and to the inspiration that continually comes to
those who are co-creating it in the outer realities.
If there is time to worry, there is time to pray!
