For any one who is a rock star,
has been a rock star, has been with a rock star,
wishes to be with a rock star,
still thinks they should be a rock star,
or makes fun of those who are rock stars...

1. We admitted we were powerless over Rock 'n' Roll , that our lives had become unmanageable.. which is usually the fault of the manager or not having one to blame and somewhat form our obsession with the 3 G's:
Gigs, Gear, & Getting a record deal.

2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves
(& that's not easy) could restore us and our careers,
or come back careers as the case may be.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of the Rock 'n' Roll Higher pOwer, even if only to have more possibilities at getting or keeping a deal,
writing more hit songs, getting more air play and choice gigs.

4. Made a searching & fearless moral inventory of ourselves and our gear, to see if we really needed every little bit of the gig. (&we do, in fact we're making a list of the new stuff we need!)

5. Admitted to this Rock 'n' Roll Higher power, to ourselves, and to another human being, the exact nature of our wrongs- (excluding band members... if doing so could possibly
break up of the band.)

6. Were entirely ready to have this Rock 'n' Roll Higher Power remove all these defects of character, unless of course they're a big part of the stage act, in which case we would only
have these defects while we're on stage.

7. Humbly asked our Rock 'n' Roll Higher Power to remove our shortcomings &/or any curses given to us from X's: X-lovers &/or groupies, band mates, agents, & managers.

8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, & became willing to make amends to them all, even if it was a "one night stand" somewhere on the road and we'd forgotten their name
or never gotten it in the first place.

9. Made a direct amends to such people where ever possible, except when doing so would injure them, others, or our careers by doing it on stage , on talk shows, with band mates who could break up the band , or to people who could possibility get us a record deal &/or more air play or gigs.

10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it, unless it was to a club owner who'd taken advantage of us &/or our band in the past.

11. Sought through prayer & meditation for more hit songs, first take recordings, and for great solos on stage and in the studio, improving our conscious contact with our Rock 'n' Roll Higher Power, praying for their will and
the power to carry out that will.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to Rockaholix & & to practice these principles in all our affairs, especially ones on the road, encouraging us to get their name
so that we could make aments to them later.

Being lead to Rock 'n' Roll , by Rock 'n' Roll, for Rock 'n' Roll, our Rock 'n' Roll Higher Power now enables us to pray,
through Rock 'n' Roll.

Long Live Rock!
